Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Ineffable Ventures, LLC ("we," "us") collects, uses and shares personal information through ineffable-ventures.com (the "Site"), our Studio services, and related communications.

1. Information we collect

You give us directly

  • Contact forms: name, email, your message, and anything else you choose to share.
  • Private membership requests (invitation only): name, email, phone, background and the information you include in your request.
  • Members area: for club members, your name, email, phone, title, ownership percentage, capital contributed, join date, votes cast, and a securely hashed password. We never store passwords in readable form.
  • Clients (businesses and individuals): name, business name (if any), contact details, billing address, and the content and materials you give us for your project. Payments are processed by Stripe. We don't receive or store full card numbers.

Publicly available business information

  • To find businesses that might benefit from our Studio services, we collect publicly listed business information, such as business name, category, address, business phone, website and business email, from public directories and map services (for example, Google Maps and OpenStreetMap). We may also visit a business's public website to check things like whether it loads securely on phones, and we may create a sample design (mockup) using the business's public name and details to show the owner. We use this information only to contact the business about our services. See Section 4 to opt out.

Collected automatically

  • Our hosting provider logs basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and reliability.
  • We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. We use only strictly necessary cookies, such as a secure session cookie that keeps members and administrators signed in. If we add analytics later, we'll update this policy and ask for consent where required.

2. How we use information

  • To respond to inquiries and review invited membership requests
  • To operate the private members area, including the ownership register and member voting records, which are visible only to signed-in members
  • To provide, bill for, host and support Studio services
  • To send one-to-one business outreach about our services, with an unsubscribe option in every message
  • To secure the Site, prevent fraud and spam, and comply with law
  • To improve our services

We don't sell personal information and don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

3. Who we share it with

We share information with service providers that act on our behalf under contract, only as needed:

  • Vercel (website hosting)
  • Supabase (database)
  • Resend (email delivery)
  • Stripe (payments)
  • Google / OpenStreetMap (business directory data)
  • Microsoft 365 (business email)

We may also disclose information to comply with law or legal process, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

4. Your choices

  • Email: every outreach email has an unsubscribe link. Once you unsubscribe, we add your address to a suppression list so we don't email it again. You can also email colel@ineffable-ventures.com.
  • Access, correction and deletion: depending on where you live (for example, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon and other U.S. states, or the EU/UK), you may have the right to know, access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. Email colel@ineffable-ventures.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject. We'll verify your request and respond within the time required by law. You may use an authorized agent. We won't discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
  • EU/UK visitors: our legal bases are consent (forms), contract (clients), and legitimate interests (security, and limited B2B outreach that you can opt out of at any time). You can complain to your local data-protection authority.

5. Retention

We keep information only as long as needed: inquiries and declined membership requests for up to 2 years; member records and voting records for as long as required by our operating agreement and applicable law; client records for the life of the relationship plus 7 years for tax and legal purposes; outreach prospect records for up to 18 months after last contact. Suppression-list entries are kept indefinitely so we can honor your opt-out.

6. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls and reputable providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Children

The Site isn't directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. You must be 18 or older to buy our services.

8. Changes

We'll post changes here and update the date above. For material changes, we'll provide additional notice where required.
